Ridge / Hip Flashings
Ridge flashings are used on apex roofs to finish and protect the join along the ridge. We supply standard ridge flashings at 3m lengths in a range of sizes folded to the internal angle to match your roof pitch. 130° internal angle (25° roof pitch) is the most popular ridge flashing we manufacture.
Hip flashings are essentially the same as ridge flashings but are used on hipped roofs to finish and protect the join along the hip (where sheets join).
Description
We supply ridge/hip flashings at 3m lengths in a range of sizes. Internal angles are specified at point of order. We can also make the wings to custom sizes if the size you require is not listed.
Ridge/hip flashings are available in 0.7mm gauge with welted edges to give extra strength and stability.
Available in a wide range of sizes, colours and angles
Galvanised sheeting is a high quality hot dipped zinc coated steel with no additional finishes added.
Please be aware that galvanised sheets cannot usually be painted until they have weathered. This usually takes approx 6 months. If a more durable coloured finish is required please consider using paint or PVC plastisol coated sheets.

*Recommendations for period to first maintenance are based on the premise that the strength and integrity of sheets would diminish after the period specified, unless maintenance was carried out. The periods estimated are based on a theoretical weight loss as a result of natural weathering under test conditions. All figures are estimates and do not constitute a guarantee period.
Please be aware that galvanised products have a shorter expected lifespan than coated products. We would recommend that galvanised products are not used within 3 miles of the coast as the lifespan can be significantly reduced.
