Over Window Drip Cill

Over Window Drip Cill (drip sill) flashings are fitted to the bottom of a wall cladding run directly over a door or window to divert water away from the door/window opening.

Description

Over Window Drip Cill flashings are attached behind the sheet at the bottom of the wall run above the opening and then extend beyond the cladding.

Custom drip cills can also be manufactured. Drip cill flashings are available in 0.7mm gauge.

Galvanised

Galvanised sheeting is a high quality hot dipped zinc coated steel with no additional finishes added.

Please be aware that galvanised sheets cannot usually be painted until they have weathered. This usually takes approx 6 months. If a more durable coloured finish is required please consider using paint or PVC plastisol coated sheets

Notes:
*Recommendations for period to first maintenance are based on the premise that the strength and integrity of sheets would diminish after the period specified, unless maintenance was carried out. The periods estimated are based on a theoretical weight loss as a result of natural weathering under test conditions. All figures are estimates and do not constitute a guarantee period.

Please be aware that galvanised products have a shorter expected lifespan than coated products. We would recommend that galvanised products are not used within 3 miles of the coast as the lifespan can be significantly reduced.
